Springfield Parkway and Springfield Greenbank Arterial - Road Upgrade (stage 1)
Description
Council is designing an upgrade of Springfield Parkway (from Topaz Road to the Centenary Highway, Springfield) and Springfield Greenbank Arterial Road (from Springfield Parkway to Sinnathamby Boulevard). These roads will be upgraded from two lanes to four. The project is identified in iGO - The City of Ipswich Transport Plan and will be completed in three separate stages. Stage 1 runs along the Springfield Parkway (from the Hymba Yumba Indigenous Community Hub to the Centenary Highway) and the Springfield Greenbank Arterial (from Springfield Parkway to Eden Station Drive).
Status
Stage 1 was completed in November 2023.
What to expect
Night works, changed traffic conditions, detours, slight delays, traffic control, sections of the footpath will be unavailable, increase in noise from machinery
