Ipswich Facts is an unofficial mirror of public data published by Ipswich City Council, joined up so a resident can search by street or project name and find every Council decision, project, closure, and mention in one place.

Council content is published under CC BY 4.0. This site preserves attribution and links back to the Council source for every item reproduced.
Development applications
What this site shows. For development applications, this site surfaces only the basic facts from Council's own Development.i register — the application number, the suburb, the lodged date, the current status, Council's own one-line description of the proposal, and a link back to Council's own page for that application. That's it: a pointer to Council, not a replacement.
What this site does not reproduce. The assessing officer's name, their report and recommendation, Council's decision narrative, any appeal result, and public submissions or submitter details are not shown here. For any of that — and for the complete, authoritative register — go to Council's Development.i. The set shown here is Council's mapped applications, and is not the whole register.

There are no comments, submissions or forms here either, and nothing on this site is editorial — it reproduces Council's published data and links back to it.
Bugs, gaps, corrections
This site is assembled by software from Council's own published data, and software misreads things. If a figure, date, or cross-reference here is wrong — or if you're from Council and want something changed — please open an issue and it will be corrected or removed. The code is public.
Figures and money
Dollar amounts come from Council's Capital Works Program PDFs, extracted automatically and reproduced without adjustment. They are not an official record of Council's budget — always check the linked Council source. Where this site shows that a figure changed between programs, that is a comparison of Council's own published documents; funding is re-phased, re-scoped and re-staged as a matter of routine, and a change is not evidence of error or wrongdoing by Council or anyone in it.
