Ripley Road and Fischer Road Upgrade - Stage 1 (between Cunningham Highway to Monterea Road)
Description
Council is upgrading Ripley Road between the Cunningham Highway and Fischer Road, in Ripley, to a four-lane urban road. This is Stage 1 of the Ripley Road and Fischer Road upgrade, which is one of Council's major road upgrades. This project will provide safer and more efficient travel for the Ipswich community.
Status
Stage 1 construction commenced in November 2025 and is due to be completed August 2027 dependent on funding in future Council budgets.
What to expect
You may experience changed traffic conditions, delays in access in and out of properties, road closures, detours, slight delays, traffic control on site, some night works as necessary and an increase in noise from machinery.
