This is a report concerning an Event Sponsorship application by Supercars for financial support of the 2026 Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440 at Queensland Raceway. Supercars have also requested Council’s consideration of a multi-year sponsorship agreement for the 2026, 2027 and 2028 events.

2. Name of Nicholas Street Precinct Carpark

This report provides an overview on the naming of the carpark below Tulmur Place within the Nicholas Street Precinct.

The carpark is physically named and signed as the Nicholas Street Precinct carpark on multiple wayfinding totems as well as the main vehicular entrance from Bremer Street. The carpark is digitally named and recognised on multiple online channels for both marketing, social media awareness as well as wayfinding mapping tools like Google Maps, Apple Maps and Waze.

5. 2025 Resource Recovery Strategy Progress Update

The attached presentation to this report highlights the 2025-year achievements by the Resource Recovery Branch, across services and infrastructure. The 2025 year saw the introduction of a city-wide Garden Organic service, which was the largest single service increase to the city, for many years.

The briefing will also note the proposed Organics at home program for discussion based on previous briefings supplied.
