Deebing Creek Bikeway – Stage 1
Description
Council is planning to install Stage 1 of the Deebing Creek Bikeway along Barker Street and Thorn Street between Warwick Road and South Street, Ipswich. This project forms part of Council's wider iGO Active Transport Action Plan network and future ‘Deebing Creek Bikeway’, which will connect the Ipswich CBD with Ripley Valley. This project jointly funding through the Queensland Government's Cycle Network Local Government Grants Program and Ipswich City Council.
Status
This project is currently on hold, with construction timing dependent on funding in future Council budgets.
