Johnston Street Road Rehabilitation

Description

Council is undertaking road pavement rehabilitation on a section of Johnston Street (just south of Verran Street), Bellbird Park. This work also includes the replacement of a small portion of kerb and channel.

Status

Works commenced in early June 2026 and are anticipated to be complete in August 2026. To facilitate the project, Council will be implementing a full road closure on Johnston Street between the Johnston and Verran Streets intersection and 47 Johnston Street during work hours (7am - 4pm, Monday to Friday).

What to expect

You may experience changed traffic conditions, delays in access in and out of properties, road closures, detours, slight delays, traffic control, some night works as necessary and an increase in noise from machinery
