Scratch lab

View medical and nursing objects dating from the early 1900s onwards. An exhibition themed around maternity care and anaesthetics is currently on display.

Ipswich model band
The Ipswich Model Band has been a community band in Ipswich for over 100 years. Members represent Ipswich in concerts, festivals and parades in South East Queensland. All ages and abilities. If you play a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument, check it out. No auditions needed.

Protege Masterclasses: Drama Workshop
Creating a character and living within his or her world is a crucial tool as an actor. It is necessary to have the ability to build bold and physical characters, as well as finding unique and subtle differences between each and every persona. This masterclass will see participants polishing skills and efficiency in making decisions, understanding given circumstances and motivations, whilst exploring how to communicate a story to the audience.
Be inspired, develop your performance skills and learn new techniques as part of this four week drama workshop program. Workshops are open to youth (16-25yrs) of any ability and will be held at Studio 188, Ipswich.
