2. Draft Indigenous Accord 2026 - 2031
This is a report concerning the Indigenous Accord 2026-2031 (the Accord). The Accord provides a strategic framework to strengthen reconciliation, cultural recognition, partnerships and outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Ipswich.
The Accord aligns with the Ipswich Corporate Plan 2026-2031 and builds on more than 30 years of Council's commitment to reconciliation, cultural recognition and partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This is a report concerning the allocation of Council’s Community Funding and Support Program from 1 April to 30 June 2026.
During the three-month period from 1 April to 30 June 2026, Council approved
89 applications from 83 unique applicants, providing a total of $359,112.09 in funding to support a range of community events and projects.
All successful applicants and projects are detailed in Attachment 1 and are reported on the Transparency and Integrity Hub in accordance with Council’s principle of transparency and the Community Funding and Support Policy.

This is a report concerning the future allocation and activation of Tivoli Sports Complex and Redbank Plains Recreation Reserve .

That the Sport and Recreation Advisory Committee receive and note the report concerning the future allocation and activation of Tivoli Sports Complex and Redbank Plains Recreation Reserve.
DISCUSSION
The committee discussed the future allocation and activation of the Tivoli Sports Complex and Redbank Plains Recreation Reserve and provided guidance to inform a report to a future meeting of the Sport and Recreation Advisory Committee addressing the longer term strategic activation of these facilities.

Discussion of SPORTS FIELDS AT Silver Jubilee PARK at next Sport and Recreation Advisory Committee meeting
Deputy Mayor Nicole Jonic raised concerns regarding the geotechnical and surface issues of the playing fields at Silver Jubilee Park and asked that this matter be included as an agenda item for discussion at the next Sport and Recreation Advisory Committee meeting.
Matters for discussion to include:
- Conditions of playing fields
- Strategy discussion for the user groups of the fields
- Condition of donated assets from developers.
