Ipswich City Council is planning to install a pedestrian refuge island on Springfield Lakes Boulevard at the western leg of the Springfield Lakes Boulevard and Burlington Terrace roundabout. Thsi project is prioritised under the iGO Active Transport Action Plan.

Status

This project is currenlty in the design phase, with construction anticipated to commence in the 2027-2028 financial year.

What to expect

You may experience increase in noise from construction machinery, temporary fencing.
