Redbank Plains Recreation Reserve - New Sports Facility
Description
Ipswich City Council are constructing new sporting facilities at Redbank Plains Recreation Reserve, Redbank Plains. This work is being undertaken to improve sport participation opportunities for the Ipswich community. The project involves constructing two new rectangular sporting fields with an overlapping cricket field, alongside new sealed car parks, footpaths and associated lighting. The project is funded under the SEQ Liveability Grant Program.
Status
Construction commenced in mid-April 2026 and is anticipated to be complete by December 2026.
