Description

Council is planning to upgrade existing footpath and kerb ramps between East Street and Bell Street, Ipswich. The new footpath and kerb ramps will comply with Australian Standards for Disability and improve the visual amenity of the area. This project forms part of the implementation of iGO Active Transport Action Plan.

Status

Construction commenced in May 2026 and is anticiapate to be complete by late June 2026.

What to expect

Increase of noise from machinery. Traffic control. Partial lane closure
