North Ipswich Reserve Western Grandstand

Description

Council has formally designated North Ipswich Reserve for a Major Sport, Recreation and Entertainment Facility as defined under the Ipswich City Plan. The new Western Grandstand will provide increased seating capacity and significantly improve amenity for patrons and event operators. Status

Works to demolish the site commenced in January 2026. The first stage of construction for the new Western Grandstand commenced in August 2026 and is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2027.
