Ipswich City Centre Bikeway – Stage 1

Council is planning the installation of a commuter bikeway from the intersection of Thorn Street and South Street to East Street and South Street, Ipswich
Status
Early planning for the project is complete with design scheduled to be delivered in the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 financial year. Early community consultation commenced in March 2022 via Council's Shape Your Ipswich website. Construction is planned for the 2027-2028 financial year and will be dependent on funding in future Council budgets.

Design will be released for comment as the project progresses
