1. Department of Environment and Science: Update and Briefing on swanbank partnership and Task Force
Senior officers from the Department of Environment and Science are attending to provide an update on the proposed Swanbank Partnership as well as other initiatives relevant to the Waste and Circular Economy Transformation Policy Directive.
Attendees included Claire Andersen, (Executive Director, Operational Support, Environmental Services and Regulation) and Rachel Burgess Dean (Executive Director - Energy, Extractive and Southwest Compliance).

MATTERS ARISING:
Councillors in attendance noted and raised questions in relation to the update presented by the Department of Environment and Science on the proposed Swanbank Partnership. Councillors provided feedback on the proposal. Councillors reiterated their concerns on the odour issues, in particular the Swanbank area. The Department of Environment and Science will continue to update the Mayor and Councillors on the Odour Abatement Task Force.

Councillor Nicole Jonic left the meeting at 11.46 am.
