1. Ripley Valley PDA Infrastructure Part 2
On the 25 June 2020, the Planning and Regulatory Services Department (PRS) presented a Councillor briefing which provided an overview of the Ripley Valley Priority Development Area (PDA) planning framework and funding arrangements. At the conclusion of that session, it was agreed that a second briefing session is needed to outline:
· The base assumptions for the planned Ripley Valley PDA infrastructure networks;
· The issues associated with the infrastructure contribution arrangements in the PDA;
· The key lead infrastructure that is necessary to support the short to medium term development within the Ripley PDA, which is unable or unlikely to be constructed by developers within the required timeframe (ie. shortfall projects);
· The key State infrastructure necessary to support the orderly and sustainable development of the Ripley PDA; and
As such, this report outlines the municipal trunk works and state transport projects required to support the short to medium term development ( nominally the next 10 years ) of the Ripley Valley PDA and highlights the funding gap required to delivery these projects.
