Where to get a tasty deal in Ipswich this April
A new program showcasing the best of Ipswich’s food and dining experiences will launch next month, with foodies near and far being encouraged to book in now.
Some of Ipswich’s favourite local restaurants and more than 30 exclusive lunch and dinner menus will feature in the Flavours of Ipswich program between 7 and 24 April.
Mayor Teresa Harding said Flavours of Ipswich puts the spotlight on the city’s diverse food and dining experiences.
“Our city has a vibrant restaurant scene with an incredible range of dining experiences,” Mayor Harding said.
“Flavours of Ipswich will enable our residents and visitors to experience some of the best food in the city for as little as $25 for a two course meal.”
Mayor Harding said the program recognises the hospitality sector’s significant contribution to the Ipswich economy.
“The 18 days of Flavours of Ipswich will give our local businesses a much-needed boost during the COVID-19 pandemic recovery,” Mayor Harding said.
“It is a great opportunity for residents and visitors to Ipswich to get behind our local restaurants and their staff at a time when they need our support.”
All participating restaurants will offer exclusive menus developed specifically for Flavours of Ipswich at a discounted fixed price throughout the program.
A two course lunch will cost $25 per person, while a three course dinner will cost $35 per person.
