Stacks on for Ipswich’s youth for Queensland Youth Week
From skate clinics to rainbow yoga, dance parties and 3D design and martial arts workshops, there is something for everyone across Ipswich for this year’s Queensland Youth Week .
The fun and free events promote creativity, engagement, inclusion, and empowerment from 11 to 17 April.
Community, Culture, Arts and Sport Committee Chairperson Councillor Andrew Fechner said council was proud to support Queensland Youth Week activities hosted by local organisations that acknowledge and celebrate the city’s young people.
“Council has partnered with a range of great organisations to create a dynamic Youth Week program that appeals to different interests and abilities,” Cr Fechner said.
“Whether you’d like to learn more about judo, creative writing, 3D design, or sustainability you’ll find a fun activity this youth week at locations across the city.”
These events include:

Understanding the importance of self-care through Rainbow Yoga
A range of workshops and sessions to spark interests with the younger generation, including Digital Creator’s 3D workshop and the Unwritten Letter music workshop
