Flavours of Summer
Spicers Hidden Vale invites you to indulge in a truly unique food festival showcasing the delicious variety of food and beverages that summer in Queensland has to offer.
The inaugural Flavours of Summer Gourmet Festival celebrates fresh produce, suppliers and retailers from across the local region and offers guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in unique Australian activities.
Today’s events include:
All day: Home-made ice cream of the day
All day: The Perfect Party Co. lawn games
6.30am-7.30am: Adventure Walk
8am-5pm: Land Rover test drive
10am: Sourdough masterclass
3.30pm-5pm: Everdure by Heston Blumenthal charcoal cooking demonstration
4pm-5pm: Cocktail making class
5pm-5.30pm: Market garden tour
6pm-7pm: Seafood and Semillon by the pool
9pm: Moonlight cinema – Chocolat

Ipswich Showplace Markets
The Ipswich Showplace Markets are held every Sunday at the Ipswich Showgrounds. They are open to the public between 6am and 11:30am.
Stallholders currently sell a range of items, both new and second hand. They range from toys, clothes, books, plants, household items, DVDs and CDs, art, craft, tools, hardware, services, fruit and vegetables, ice-cream, hot food, coffee and more.

Built for Speed
Design, build and race your Lego hot rod, dragster or supercar down rad ramps and slick tracks. Modify your ride for extra speed then re-race your turbocharged wheels for ultimate victory.

COST: $5 per person or $15 for a family pass (admits up to five people. Must include at least one adult). Free for under 2s.
19th & 20th Century Works
View some of the finest pieces from the Ipswich Art Gallery’s collection of 19 th and early 20 th century fine art and folk art, as well as contemporary works reflecting Ipswich’s heritage.
