Drop-in sessions for inland rail project
Australian Rail Track Corporation is hosting a series of drop-in information sessions for its inland rail project.
The proposed 1,700km line is the largest freight rail infrastructure project in Australia. The first train is expected to operate from 2024-2025.
Two sections of the line run through the Ipswich local government area. They are: Helidon to Calvert and Calvert to Kagaru.
Drop-in sessions for the Helidon to Calvert project are being held on these days:
25 September 2020: 9am-4pm, Forest Hill Place, Anzac Park, corner of Victoria and Gordon Streets, Forest Hill.
30 September 2020: 11am-7pm, Helidon RSL, 7 Arthur Street, Helidon
31 October 2020: 7am-noon, Laidley Cultural Centre, 3 Laidley-Plainland Road, Laidley
