Recommendation
That the Sport and Recreation – Items for Discussion report be received and the contents noted.
DISCUSSION
The committee members and observer discussed indoor sports facilities, partnerships with organisations and priorities for the committee.
Priorities include:
1. Resources and funding
2. Partnerships
3. Indoor sports in Ipswich
Action:
General Manager Community, Cultural and Economic Development to provide a report to the next Sport and Recreation Advisory Committee for discussion capturing all opportunities for brownfield land and extra fields.
