1. Nicholas Street Precinct - Maximising Value of Venue and Surrounding Precinct
This report introduces a QTC led workshop relating to the Venue building in a continuing series relating to the Nicholas Street Precinct (NSP). The aim is to provide councillors with an overview of key precinct financial matters and future investment options relating specifically to the Venue building and its relationship to the precinct city centre. Previous workshops have considered issues including projected financial commitments and leasing strategies . The purpose of this workshop is to provide councillors with an overview of Queensland Treasury Corporation’s recent assessments of strategies to maximise the value of the Venue building and impacts on the surrounding precinct.
