2. Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements Projects
The purpose of this presentation is to provide the Mayor and Councillors with an update on flood recovery projects following the March 2025 Tropical Cyclone (TC) Alfred event.
This presentation will also include information relating to the funding submissions and the status of the projects relative to the event.
All submissions lodged with the Queensland Reconstruction Authority have been progressed to approved with a summary of these submissions provided within the presentation.

Councillors in attendance noted and discussed the updated information presented on the disaster recovery funding arrangements projects in particular the river bank stabilisation of the Bremer River at Riverlink and Riverheart parklands.

Councillors in attendance noted and discussed the information presented on the proposed updates to the Graffiti Removal Policy. Feedback was provided and a report will be provided to a future Finance and Governance committee meeting for consideration.
