1. Healthy Land and Water Report Card Brieifing 2025
Healthy Land and Water (HLW) as the Regional Natural Resource Management (NRM) body, in partnership with the Queensland Government, carry out an annual Ecosystem Health Monitoring Program for all the waterways across the Southeast Queensland region. The results of the monitoring program are announced and issued annually in the form of a waterway health report card. This briefing session will be attended by senior Healthy Land and Water Management officers to present and discuss the findings of the report card, and the grades for waterways within Ipswich Local Government Area prior to public release on 4 December 2025.
The report card grade is Embargoed until its publication.

This report details the outcome of the standard four year review cycle for the Public Interest Disclosure Policy.

The Economic Development Incentive Policy has been updated to replace the existing 2015 policy. The revised policy provides a more contemporary framework to attract and support new investment opportunities in the city. It establishes clear mechanisms to encourage significant, high-value projects that contribute to economic growth in line with our strategic goals.

The purpose of this briefing is to engage the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillors on the Major Infrastructure Delivery Portfolio Board and introduce a new monthly summary report designed to keep elected representatives regularly informed on the city’s most significant infrastructure projects.

Councillors in attendance noted and discussed the information presented on the Major Infrastructure Project Delivery. The current status of the Detailed Business Case for the Second River Crossing was discussed noting that the funding is yet to be released to Council while the funding agreement is being finalised.
