This is a report on Councils Policy and Governance Frameworks. The purpose of this report is to provide information on the Policy and Governance Frameworks and seek input from Council in relation to a future review.

MATTERS ARISING:

Councillors in attendance noted and discussed the information presented on the Policy and Governance Frameworks. Councillors provided feedback in relation to integrity principles of the Good Governance Policy, as well as version controls.

3. Capital Investment in Provisional Projects Procedure

At the June Council Ordinary Meeting the Capital Investment in Provisional Projects Policy was adopted by Council.

At the 22 July 2025 meeting of the Infrastructure Planning and Assets Committee, the Capital Investment in Provisional Projects Procedure was presented for noting, however was was laid on the table for consideration at a future meeting.

At the request of Councillors, a workshop will be held to discuss the Procedure in more detail.

MATTERS ARISING:

Councillors in attendance noted and discussed the Capital Investment in Provisional Projects procedure. Feedback was provided and minor edits will be made to the draft Procedure for it to be discussed at a further Councillor workshop.

4. Let's Get It Sorted (LGIS) Project Update

The Queensland Government is supporting councils to implement behaviour change interventions to improve kerbside recycling through the Let’s Get It Sorted (LGIS) Program. This report provides an update on the LGIS recycling improvement program - activities to date and upcoming.

Mayor Teresa Harding arrived at 9.05 am.

Councillor Jacob Madsen arrived at the meeting at 9.18 am.

Councillor Jacob Madsen left the meeting at 9.27 am.

Councillor Jacob Madsen returned to the meeting at 9.29 am.

Councillor Marnie Doyle left the meeting at 10.21 am.

Deputy Mayor Nicole Jonic left the meeting at 10.22 am.

Councillor Marnie Doyle returned to the meeting at 10.25 am.

The meeting adjourned at 10.27 am.

The meeting reconvened at 10.50 am with all councillors in attendance except for Councillor Andrew Antoniolli.

Councillor Andrew Antoniolli returned to the meeting at 10.55 am.

Councillor Pye Augustine left the meeting at 11.16 am.

Councillor Pye Augustine returned to the meeting at 11.18 am.

Deputy Mayor Nicole Jonic left the meeting at 11.21 am.

The meeting closed at 11.29 am.
