1. iVolve Program Update (July)

The iVolve Program continues to deliver major technology upgrades to modernise Council’s core systems and improve service delivery.

· The ElevateHR project timeline is currently under review, with a revised implementation approach being considered to better align with change readiness and operational constraints. The updated timeline, which includes a staged go-live in 2026, is in the process of being endorsed by the Project Control Group (PCG).

· The ElevateAWM project has formally commenced, with Brightly appointed as the delivery partner following a successful procurement process. Planning for implementation is underway, with internal mobilisation and stakeholder engagement progressing.

· For the ElevateSafety project, a preferred supplier has been identified and a draft Recommendation to Award (RTA) is currently under development. The project is on track to move into the contracting phase shortly.

This workshop will focus on two key areas: ElevateAWM vendor selection (Brightly/Siemens), and an overview of the assurance activities in place for ElevateHR, including planned testing, parallel pay runs, and other readiness measures.

2. Warrill Park Lawn Cemetery – Master Planning & Community Engagement

A report to the Growth, Infrastructure and Waste Committee of 9 February 2023 outlined the requirement to undertake a review and update of the Master Plan for the Warrill Park Lawn Cemetery. The recommendations of the report were:

A. That the Master Plan for the Warrill Park Lawn Cemetery presented to the Council Ordinary Meeting on 19 February 2013 be revised and updated.

B. That the revised Concept Master Plan for the Warrill Park Lawn Cemetery be presented to a future meeting of the Growth and Infrastructure and Waste Committee.

Funding has been allocated in the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 financial years to revise and update the master plan. A Preliminary Concept Design and Land Management Plan has been developed to inform discussions with stakeholders.

It is proposed that engagement with key external stakeholders commence and that a Shape Your Ipswich page be used to seek wider community consultation on the draft Master Plan and Land Management Plan for the Warrill Park Lawn Cemetery.

Engagement with internal stakeholders has been ongoing. Councillor and community engagement is intended to utilise the proposed stakeholder groups discussed below.

This report provides a summary of the major review of the City of Ipswich Transport Plan (2016) (iGO), and the key features of the re-branded iGO Ipswich Transport Strategy 2025 (iGO Strategy) in preparation for Council endorsement consideration.

Councillors in attendance noted and discussed the information presented on the iGO Ipswich Transport Strategy 2025 and a report will be provided to the Infrastructure, Planning and Assets committee for consideration.
