This is a report concerning 55 Champions Way, Willowbank drainage issues and the proposal to divert flow to the west of Queensland Raceway, located at
133 Champions Way, Willowbank, to reduce the current impacts on the property boundary.
MATTERS ARISING:
The Councillors in attendance noted and discussed the information presented on Champions Way, Willowbank drainage options.
In accordance with section 150EM of the Local Government Act 2009 , Deputy Mayor Nicole Jonic informed the meeting that she has a prescribed conflict of interest in Item 2 titled Riverview Resource Recovery Centre Pit Works and Partial Closure.
The nature of the prescribed conflict of interest is that Deputy Mayor Jonic has three close family members who are employed by Remondis.
Deputy Mayor Nicole Jonic advised that she will leave the meeting room while any discussion on Remondis is being undertaken.

As a part of the transfer station building asset maintenance program, a building condition inspection, by a structural engineer, identified that repairs were needed to the transfer station pit walls and ramp to keep the structure in a serviceable condition and to extend the life of the asset. This briefing note explains the scope of the pit works required and why, notification of potential impacts to Riverview Resource Recovery Centre customers during the works and operational responses to reduce the impact on customers.

Discussions included traffic management at the Riverview Resource Recovery Centre and media communication to residents advising of the planned works.
