Ipswich City Council will be responsible for the management of over 800,000m2 of non-habitable rezoned land, across 17 suburbs throughout Ipswich. Commencing with external stakeholder engagement, we have begun to identify and explore potential future use for this land.

2. 2023 Australasian Management Team Overview

Council submitted a team of 6 employees to the Australasian Management Challenge (AMC). The team will present to you what the challenge involved, the results of the challenge and the benefits of the challenge.

MATTERS ARISING:

The Mayor and Councillors congratulated all staff who participated in the challenge and thanked them for their efforts in representing Ipswich City Council.

This forms part of the regular bi-monthly strategic priorities workshops for the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillors to meet with the CEO to discuss strategic priorities, opportunities, challenges and risks.

This workshop will focus on major assets and priority projects contained within the Long Term Financial Forecast (LTFF) any project not yet identified in the LTFF, prioritisation of these projects and likely funding sources.
