DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST IN MATTERS ON THE AGENDA

In accordance with section 150EQ of the Local Government Act 2009 , Councillor Andrew Fechner informed the meeting that he has a declarable conflict of interest in discussions in relation to the Nicholas Street Precinct.

The nature of the interest is that Councillor Fechner stands to gain a benefit or suffer a loss due to his business interest in both A1A Events Pty Ltd and Bar Heisenberg Pty Ltd which is located in the top of town at 164 Brisbane Street, Ipswich.

Councillor Fechner advised the meeting that he will leave the meeting room while the matter is being discussed.

In accordance with section 150EQ of the Local Government Act 2009 , Mayor Teresa Harding informed the meeting that she has a declarable conflict of interest in discussions in relation to the LRCI Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (LRCI) - Phase 3.

The nature of the interest is that the potential inclusion of two (2) local roads that are scheduled for maintenance are near Mayor Harding’s residence.

Mayor Harding advised the meeting that she will leave the meeting room while the matter is being discussed.

Councillor Fechner left the meeting at 10.52 am due to a declarable conflict of interest in relation to Nicholas Street Precinct CBD discussions.

Mayor Harding left the meeting at 10.52 am due to a declarable conflict of interest in relation to the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.

Mayor Harding returned to the meeting at 10.54 am.

Councillor Fechner returned to the meeting at 11.00 am.
